When I was a young boy… hmm, long long time ago… in a galaxy far away… nabu was under an attack (oh wait)
Any way, I loved those 3D thing you would get in Die Huisgenoot and
You mags. my eye would cross over for hours. Many people could not see it and most people still cant. Well I was one of the lucky few who were able to see them easily. Today in the Lab, our lab manger pulled one out of her bag and asked “who can see these things” so I tried again after years of not doing it and I was able to see it straight away. Here is an easy one. The easiest way to see it is by putting is close to your face and moving it away and not straighten out your eye, almost as it you are looking through the Screen/page. you can practice by looking at someone’s face and trying to place there eyes on top of each other (so that it seems as though they have 3). The Stereograms works on some interesting principles described on this web page. Go check it out.
The stereograms on there page is even difficult for me to see, so if you are a beginner and can’t see it don’t feel bad.
Here is one I made on the site: Click on it to enlarge
