I got an email this morning with a link to the Official FIFA 2010 world Cup song. I am not sure in what language she is singing in or what she is singing in the part that is not English. I hope the rest of Africa is helping pay for the World Cup sing it is advertised as hosted by Africa. It’s quite interesting how they like to make everything that South Africa do a continental event, while if an event is hosted in say, France it is not a European thing. Oh and can someone please explain how everyone now is Africa? The song is “OK”. I liked the 1995 Rugby world cup song a lot better! World in union had power (actually it had Powers, hehe).

Shakira and Freshlyground will be performing the song at at the Closing Ceremony  on July 11 at the Soccer City Stadium in Johannesburg.
